Anna Pavlova Ballet Photo Contest opened its first exhibition in The Hague.
The Arts gallery of the Embassy of Albania to the Kingdom of The Netherlands has become its first Dutch home thanks to the hospitality and priceless support of the Ambassador Her Excellency Adia Sakiqi and our collaboration with Altin Kaftira, Het National Ballet photographer and creative video maker, the Contest Juror and Anna Pavlova Network partner in The Netherlands. The exhibition in The Hague includes a series of his wonderful portraits of Megan Zimny Kaftira, Dutch National Ballet soloist who not only was present at the opening but also took part in the preparation of the exhibition.
Many guests have joined us for this event devoted to ballet photography. We were happy to see all of them!
Han Balk, our Magic on Stage Category winner, always makes an active part in all Anna Pavlova Network projects and this time we had a wonderful opportunity to greet him personally.
Our collaborator and friend from Brussels Alina Konstantinova joined us for the inauguration. She is the mother of Alisa Uzunova, a very talented young dancer who takes part in our artistic initiatives as a model and dancer. We are sure that there will be many new wonderful cultural projects realised with Alina and we will bring our exhibitions and other activities to Brussels, too.
The visit of Maestro Anderson Santana of Brussels International Ballet School has become a great honor for us. He came together with Madam Isabelle Vandenberghe and that surely became a very significant meeting for us and the beginning of a new fruitful international collaboration both for Anna Pavlova Network and ACSI Danza, our partners in Italy. Nunzio Striano of ACSI was present in the Hague and we thank him for his priceless assistance in the organisation of the event.
We also would like to thank Madam Ianina Cozari of Cozaripress who found time to be with us at the Opening. We hope she enjoyed the exhibition and also we hope to create new occasions to invite her in the future.
Madam Xhulyeta Keko, the Ambassador’s assistant was there to support us and help us and we thank her for being part of this extremely warm reception that we enjoyed in the Hague.
Antonio Azzurro, an Italian photographer who represented Anna Pavlova Network and supported us in a very important and crucial process of preparation and holding of the ceremony has been really impressed by all the friendship, hospitality, understanding and professionalism that he found in all our collaborators in The Netherlands. Everybody who helped with the exhibition, all the guests, dancers of Het National Ballet Priscylla Gallo and Daniel Montero who took part in his ballet shooting in Amsterdam – all these people will always remain in our hearts as a perfect example of how international artistic partnership should be.
This article’s format doesn’t let us to list everybody but but we are grateful to every and each one of you, our best Dutch friends!
